Melting point (°C): 310~320
Toxicity LD50 (mg/kg): low toxicity. The oral LD50 of the mice and rats was greater than 10g/kg, no teratogenic and no mutagenic effect.
Properties: light yellow to light yellow brown crystalline powder
Solution: almost insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform, soluble in cyclohexane, slightly soluble in ethanol.
Uses: can prevent protein synthesis in microbial cells, feeding pigs, can promote weight gain, improve feed conversion rate, the European Economic Community regulations, for broilers, add 1 ~ 10g per ton of feed; for 6 months or less For pigs, 2 to 20 g per ton of feed is added. The amount of additives specified in the Japanese Feed Safety Law is 2.5 to 10 g per ton of feed and 2.5 to 20 g of pig feed.
