The veterinary drug nosiheptide was first discovered by French scientists in Streptom-yces actlloslZS 40037 fermentation broth in 1961. It was then trial-produced by Rhone-Poulenc and fed in several countries and regions. The study of naxipeptide in China Beginning in 1989, in 1992, it was included in the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” project of the Ministry of Agriculture; in 1998, it was approved as China’s three new types of veterinary drugs; in 2002, it was industrialized by Hangzhou Huineng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Fudan University School of Pharmacy. After the study, it was put on the market in large quantities in 2003.

The use of Nosiheptide:
It can prevent protein synthesis in microbial cells and feed pigs, which can promote weight gain and increase feed conversion rate. The European Economic Community stipulates that for broilers, 1 to 10 g per ton of feed is added; for pigs within 6 months of age, 2 to 20 g per ton of feed is added. The amount of additives specified in the Japanese Feed Safety Law is 2.5 to 10 g per ton of feed and 2.5 to 20 g of pig feed.
